My name is Önder Sertçelik. I live in Istanbul. I have been actively taking street photographs since 2016. I also received documentary photography training. I have 2 photo projects, one about the street and the other about the documentary. My photos were featured in several group exhibitions in Istanbul.
I think Istanbul is a fascinating and interesting city with its streets and human condition. I especially love shooting frames with shadow-light, narrative situations and multiple scatter. I am very interested in cinema, literature, painting and theater. I can say that different art disciplines also inspire me to take more original and creative shots on the street. I usually take my best photos when I go out on my own; because my motivation is higher. Usually in Istanbul, I was heading straight at my photos in my portfolio some photos are photos I took of Turkey in the other cities.

Ozan Safak
I am Ozan Şafak from Turkey. I was born in İstanbul in 1978. I am a history teacher at the high school. My history with photography begun when I was a child. I first met photography with my father’s analog cameras. I wouldn’t have understood his explanations about cameras working principles at that time. I bought myself a camera in 2010 and started to learn the basic principles of photography myself by buying a lot of photography books. Street photography has become my interest since 2015, which was of interest to documentary photography before.
Now street photography is my passion. I try to photograph city life and İstanbul streets for 3 years longer. Silhouettes and Colors of Istanbul is my main idea. My photography is about light and shadow at the street life. I like to show the texture of the city and the loneliness of the person by using geometry, light and shadows in my photographs.[thb_button_text link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fozansafak%2F|title:Ozan%20Safak%20Instagram|target:%20_blank|”] -

Marina Bulduk
Well, I’m Belarusian but I reside in Istanbul/Turkey now. The motto for my life is CARPE DIEM (seize the moment). Maybe that’s why street photography is one of my great passions in life. I’m desperately in love with street photography because it is unpredictable. That’s what makes it a challenge. Leaving your house you have no idea what you might see during your street hunt. Letting go and being present in the streets is a liberating feeling. You’re capturing fleeting moments that will never occur the same way again. Well, I took my first candid photos only at the beginning of 2018 but I wish I had discovered it sooner.
Mostly I try to catch some moments of everyday life of Istanbul in more or less artistic way…and I love experimenting with my camera (trying to create something out of nothing). My gallery is pretty chaotic but most of all I’m addicted to silhouettes, shadows and reflections. With street photography you learn to appreciate these little things and details that are always around us but are usually taken for granted. Stay focused, folks![thb_button_text link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fmarinabulduk|title:Marina%20Bulduk%20Instagram|target:%20_blank|”]About The Collection
Silhouettes
That’s what all we’ll be. Just some silhouettes, rarely seen, but yet believed in. -

Birgul Koc
Hi, I am Birgül KOÇ. I live in İstanbul. I am a gynecologist interested in streetphotography.
Street photography, in my opinion, is a concept that is beyond the classical fictional tendencies; it implicates contrasts, spontaneities. it is the light, the shadow, the irregularity. Every passing day in my career I notice that the every day and every moment of life contains different types of people, cases, excitements, worries and joys at the same time. With all this and the necessity of deciding fast and taking action makes me exited and makes my mind, my heart and my soul come to the same line. I feel so lucky because I live in İstanbul; when I leave my home it is possible to encounter a new case that excites me at every corner and every street of this beautiful city.
My portfolio contains only the photographs that are taken in İstanbul. They are taken spontaneously and without any fiction.I am member of Turkuazstreet Collective based in İstanbul.[thb_button_text link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fbirgulkoc_%2F|title:Birgul%20Koc%20Instagram|target:%20_blank|”] -

Hakan Biyiklioglu
Hakan Biyiklioglu
Hakan Bıyıklıoğlu was born in İstanbul/Turkey. Father of three, two daughters and a son, Hakan works as a software architecture and has been in the information technology world for a long time. Photography has always been his love.
Chasing for unusual moments and angles in ordinary city spots and streets, he makes use of wide spaces, minimized objects and people, mixed with a feeling of serenity.
Geometry, silhouettes and shadows are mostly in play as well as long exposures. Traveling to rural parts, iconic cities, chatting with people before photographing them are essential parts of his photography adventure.[thb_button_text link=”url:http%3A%2F%2Fwww.hakanbiyiklioglu.com|title:Hakan%20Biyiklioglu%20Website|target:%20_blank|”][thb_button_text link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fhakan.biyiklioglu%2F|title:Hakan%20Biyiklioglu%20Instagram|target:%20_blank|”]About The Collection
In city life, our surroundings may seem crowded with people, like a chaos and sometimes even like a jungle. But sometimes a silhouette, a shadow, a geometric forming of architecture with a special angle of light, helps us to find the beauty in most ordinary places.
Aesthetics is hidden for us to see and often comes out easily with a minimalistic approach. -

Yusuf Duyar
I am a senior software engineer based in Istanbul, Turkey, and doing street photography as a hobby. I started photography two years ago. At the beginning I wanted to capture beautiful landscapes but after a while landscape pictures became so boring to me. And I found a fantastic and creative genre of photography – street photography. My works are especially focused on shadow and light, silhouettes and interesting moments of streets that impossible to repeat again. My daily job is very similar to street photography in terms of creativity. Photography is the only way for me to clear all the confusion in my brain. It is an invaluable experience for me to forget everything and think about photographs the moment I go out on the street.
