    Eduard Maiterth

I’m a German street photographer based in Heilbronn, Germany.
In 2018 I discovered street photography for me, a new world where I can express myself the best. My photography is always candid, mostly spontaneous, still seeking for the right balance between the story, light, composition and framing. It makes me happy, when all these things come together. The symbolic character of streetphotography is for me more important than the documentary one.

    About The Collection

    BUS STOPS
Nowadays more and more people live in different parallel worlds. This is symbolized with the two layers – the inside and outside of the bus. The microcosmos BUS STOPS is a mirror for our world. We can see lonely people, friends embracing each other, people in thought, people moving in scary places.

  • Guido Klumpe

    Guido Klumpe

I was born in 1971 and live in Hannover, a city with 500.000 citizens in Germany.
My first contact with street photography was on my travels in the 90´s when I even don’t know anything about this genre. Since 2016 I have been concentrating exclusively on street photography. I am already slightly addicted to it.
Since I am blind on the left side since birth and have only 25% vision on the other eye, I am rather a slow photographer. Candid photography is not my preferred discipline. Composing a stage and waiting for the decisive moment is my favorite way to work. I can be very patient. Sometimes I´m kneeling on the floor for 15 minutes when I think it´s worth it.My styles and triggers change from time to time. Sometimes it is the work with reflections and blur, sometimes it is juxtapositions or curiosity gaps that inspire me. But always a clear and graphic composition is important to me. I don’t like chaos in my pictures. I would like to leave out all unimportant picture elements as far as possible. The selection should give you an overview.
I am less interested in showing certain characters on the streets. I would rather document the light, the colours and the forms of the urban landscape in relation to the human being.
For me a good photo is not only composed in a balanced way, but also tells a story or conveys an emotion.
At the moment I´m doing minimal photography on street to stay safe during the pandemic.

    Birka Wiedmaier

My name is Birka Wiedmaier, I am a native German and before recently moving to Berlin, have lived for many years abroad.
I am a mainly self-taught photographer and photography became a passion, about 10 years ago while living in Moscow. My inspiration comes from the people in the cities where I live.  The people of a city, town or village are what define the face and life of their respective places, I like to capture them in candid moments, unnoticed.
Over the years my work has been exhibited in several countries, including Russia, US, UK, Germany, France and Malaysia.

    About The Collection

Before moving to Berlin, I lived for one year in Istanbul and instantly was fascinated by the city and its people. I loved to roam the streets and capture little scenes. You can find amazing light, get caught in the markets or packed streets and watching children playing.
