My name is Kıvanç Başkaya and I’m from Turkey. I would like to introduce myself as a self-taught street photographer and observer of life. Observing life offers us lots of interesting moments and I like sharing the moments that I witnessed. For me, street photography is like telling a story. That is why, I do not prefer planned or staged shoots. I travel a lot because of my work and I have had the opportunity of taking photos in different places around the world. However, I know that the city I live in is the best one yet. As you all might know, renounced photographers like Alex Webb or Gueorgui Pinkhassov frequently visit İstanbul to shoot. Thanks to them, I had a chance to see Istanbul from a different angle and I enjoyed that angle very much.

Andrés César
I am Spanish born in Almeria and live in the Canary Islands, I am 60 years old. For health reasons I had to stop working so, while I was recovering, I took walks on the beach and began “to see life differently and observe everything that was happening around me. First with my mobile phone and then with a small camera I immortalized those moments and it was my best therapy”.
Humour and irony are present in my images and the city’s carnivals are ideal because of the spontaneity of the people when they dress up and the situations you can see in different settings such as markets, bars, public transport, the beach…
I’ve been taking pictures for about 6 years now, my favourite place is the urban beach of the city, which I usually cover almost every day for more than three kilometres…” Over time, keeping that beach as the central axis of my work, I moved around different streets of the city and villages of the island to continue maturing as a photographer, since I’m self-taught. And the self-taught person learns by looking, walking and burning a lot of shutter”.[thb_button_text link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.andrescesar.com%2F|title:Andr%C3%A9s%20C%C3%A9sar%20WEBSITE|target:%20_blank|”][thb_button_text link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fandresycesar%2F|title:Andr%C3%A9s%20C%C3%A9sar%20INSTAGRAM|target:%20_blank|”] -

Sagi kortler
Sagi kortler
Born in 1972 in Israel. I’m a self taught, freelance photographer.
I got into street photography in 2009 as I was looking for my voice in photography.
I am fascinated by the relationship and connections between people and between people and their surroundings.
I make pictures by intuition, because I feel that I need to click the exposure button at that exact time. I do not plan or stage my photos. I let life unfold before me,
I capture and present it as I see it and I bring my own unique perspective of the everyday life.I’m an observer of humanity and life, my role is to document the world I live in, to tell its story from my point of view.
My hope is for my work to become a part of a global pool of documentations for future generations so they will be able to learn and understand the times I live in.[thb_button_text link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.sagi-k.com%2F|title:Sagi%20kortler%20Website|target:%20_blank|”][thb_button_text link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fsagi_k%2F|title:Sagi%20kortler%20Instagram|target:%20_blank|”]About The Collection
As I mark these days 10 years of street photography, this collection represent that period of time. Although, I have traveled and made images around the world, I picked up only images made in Israel as they probably represent best who i am.
I make color and black and white images but here I only chose color as again it represent my photography these days better. -

Nick Escobar
Photography came to me through my passion for traveling the world and experiencing new cultures.
Halfway through my one year travel in Asia I decided to buy my first camera, I figured phone photos aren’t just capturing the moment I intended to capture. And since then it had changed the way I travel and all in all it has changed the way I see the wold. Suddenly I became obsessed with getting lost in new cities I end up in and just capturing everything that makes me feel something, the good and the bad. This is how my interest for street photography started.
India is my Favorite country to travel in, it is so photogenic in every way. Its taught me many genres of photography, the streets are ideal, the people are so interesting to look at that I took interest in portrait, the many landscapes it has, details, food, everything.
I feel every beginner photographer and that’s what I am, should at least once visit India with their camera.[thb_button_text link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.instagram.com%2Fsumdrifter%2F|title:Nick%20Escobar%20Instagram|target:%20_blank|”]About The Collection

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been drawn to dark things. Hidden things, peeking through windows and branches. Glimpses of flesh between shadows, TV screens humming behind curtains, while the creatures of the night roam freely outside.
The world is more interesting if you don’t look directly at it. And it’s softer after dusk, people tread more carefully, sounds become muted.
Some of these photos were taken on the other side of the world, others a few metres away from my bed. I love dark places, wherever they may be. Inside or out. -

Adam Miller
The streets of the Big Apple are my stomping ground where I shoot film (and only film) in all formats and all genres. I have a deep passion for New York City and its people. I love encapsulating those elements of beauty, fashion and attitudes that define our present culture in New York City – usually in an up-close and personal manner. My adrenaline is highest while shooting people close up in our punishing snow blizzards. My narcissism is most satiated when I am tattooing silhouettes of my fedora-wearing shadow on unsuspecting peoples’ chests and backs. And, of course, there is a very serious side of my photography in which I apply traditional medium and large format film techniques to capture surreal cityscapes and landscapes that showcase the zeitgeist of the City that never sleeps.

Tim Smith
I started photography in 2014, shooting in color, mainly cityscapes and architecture. Over time, not only was I fascinated with angles, geometry and symmetry of the shoot, but really started to notice the shapes created by shadows. The color of the scene almost became a distraction from everything else that I found so interesting. For me, using different tones of black and white only helps convey the world that I see in different patterns. Individuals bring life to the photo, but I hope to convey that we’re constantly surrounded by things (angles, shadows, patterns, symmetries) that were probably to busy to notice. The attached collection of photos highlight this world.

Serkan Tekin
I live in Istanbul which is a really wonderful city for street photography. I am trying to make my art with the opportunities given by Istanbul streets and people. The streets are my playground. I’m always on the streets in all my free time and all weather conditions. My photos are about visions from Istanbul streets.
Street Photography is a great passion for me. My most valuable way of self-expression. Geometric components, comic-strange-funny coincidences and especially humour are main themes in my frames/images. My photos are about visions from Istanbul. I listen music while taking photo and the Istanbul streets/people seems to me like a theater scene. Music and Streets…just like an opera…

Antonio García Andrés
My name is Antonio García Andrés and I was born in Orihuela (small city in the south of Spain) and currently live in Barcelona for 5 years. My first contact with photography was during high school, with my friends. We did several short films in Super 8. From those days I began to be interested in cinema, art, etc. and everything which is related with the photography. About 15 years ago I bought my first analog camera, a Nikon F70 with which I shot my first photos and learned the basics of photography. It is since 3 years ago that he began to study photography seriously, analyzing the great masters of photography and assiduously going out into the street with the camera.
With my photography I try to capture of those almost imperceptible moments of reality that happen in tenths of a second. A hidden reality that comes together in the complexity of daily life. Situations that constantly happen in front of us and that without a trained eye, will pass in front of us without being observed.
I like street photos that are not only beautiful and well composed, but are also capable of telling a possible story through a single photo, that are clear and that can produce a reaction in the viewer. And if they have a touch of humor, much better. All this I try to represent in my photography.

Taking pictures is a natural phenomenon, even when I have not adopted photography as my profession, I love to shoot with my film camera and Point and shoot camera. Initially, capturing family moments was my priority, however, with the start of the year 2016, I started understanding my potential and started taking storytelling photographs and realized that when I connect with my subjects deeply, I can make realistic compositions that define something more than just a photograph, even from the most ordinary-looking situations. After that, I decided to tell those simple but extraordinary stories that are unnoticed in this fast going daily life, by roaming on the streets of Delhi and many times I found my own life journey defined by many other characters which were either human, nature or animals. So reading and exploring my own personality or taking photographs, is just vice versa to me…
I love to shoot people in their natural environment. For me, it’s a process of writing stories or poetry form the surrounding. They are like various voices that somehow I got connected… It’s a medium to express my personality to the world that who I am… what I think…how I think…And I shoot only those things that I connect either that is of the street or daily life or from my travel diary… I believe in imagination that comes from reading and observing various situations that I encounter, either in my city Delhi or at my hometown, or traveling to many other places…
In simple language, “with my Images, I try to explore myself as much as I can do”.
