Born and raised in downtown Guayaquil, Ecuador, with Lebanese roots form both my mother and my father side of the family I am used to be around people all the time.Growing up I was not into sports, which made me spend a a lot of time , sometimes an entire days watching through my room window what happened outside on the streets. I t was the 1990’s when I found a rangefinder camera in on of my mothers drawers. Since then I have a camera attach to my hand. At that time it was safe to go out by myself to explore the streets alone. I think my photography is the result of my childhood memories, long walks and the person I became when I met my wife. Streets tell stories and being able to tell , document and develop them is my passion. At 18 I learned to develop film and print in a darkroom, I made an improvise darkroom in my bathroom. I like to document people and being welcome to their most personal spaces, as a lonely spectator, at their own silence like old street photography. I have a fascination for shadows, lines and shapes. With my photography I am able to materialize what I feel.
