Mark Davidson starts work early. Employed as a breakfast radio producer, his day begins at 2am. But waking up early has its advantages.

Jumping out of bed in the middle of the night means that Mark’s working day is over by mid-morning, and allows him to shoot street photography on his walk home. Mark has been shooting street photography for 18 months, having fell in love with photography while taking pictures of his travels.

He shoots mainly in the streets and alleys of Melbourne, always searching for the light and happenstance, and has a keen interest in documentary photography as well.

In 2020, Mark came runner-up in the Australian Photography Awards (travel/street) and runner-up in the Mono Awards. His work has also been featured in street photography exhibitions in Melbourne.

Mark lives in Melbourne, Australia.
