Tag: street photograph

is a type of photograph that records everyday life in a public place. The very publicness of the setting enables the photographer to take candid pictures of strangers, often without their knowledge. Street photographers do not necessarily have a social purpose in mind, but they prefer to isolate and capture moments which might otherwise go unnoticed.

    Stefano Carotenuto

Born in ’84 in sunny Napoli, Italy. I love being on the streets looking for interesting characters, ambiguous situations, paradoxes, juxtapositions and so on. Walking and watching and shooting pictures has turned into an amazing hobby. They call it street photography, at any rate, it became the right “therapy” to feel better about myself and the others and to make sense of things.

    About The Collection

    Beauty in the mundane
I don’t have a specific goal when I go out on my daily travels.  It seems anything can be beautiful.  You just have to be open in seeing and knowing when it’s there.  I have to admit being a photographer in NYC can be unfair at times.  I don’t have to look too hard as there are always things going on around me.  These photos represent what New York is through my eyes.  Enjoy!

  • Suresh Naganathan

    Suresh Naganathan

Born in Switzerland in 1980, I moved back to India, my parents’ country of origin, in 2008. Overwhelmed by the sounds, colors, and overbearing human presence in this new environment after 28 years in calm Switzerland, I picked up the camera in order to make sense of all the chaos surrounding me.
After a few years of random snapshots, I came across the genre of street photography in 2014.
It was a revelation! This encounter opened my eyes to the endless possibilities the art of candid photography has to offer. From that moment, there was no turning back. My passion turned into an obsession, a quest to find the special moments that people so easily miss.
Over the last few years, I have been exploring the streets of the world. Wherever I go, the camera is an integral part of me, in my search for that “something” unique and quirky that only I can see. This is as much an exploration of the world around me as it is of my own self.

    About The Collection

This set of images is part of a long-term project about Mumbai, the city I have been calling home for the last 12 years. Mumbai is one of the most diverse places I have encountered both in terms of culture as well as urban landscapes. I aim to give people a sense of this place through my photography and hope to turn these images into a book someday.

    About The Collection

Losing myself in a scene and becoming at one with a scene and then the image, gives me a sense of achievement and is the reason I continue to go out and photograph. This collection includes images that have a sense of intimacy and closeness and where I feel I am part of that scene and within the image itself.

Photography is my hobby and I am a Travel & Street Photographer driven by passion. Travel, Street, People’s lifestyle, daily life and all people related genres are my favorite genres. I started capturing photos in 2010 with my uncle’s Handi-cam, cousin’s Compact, and Point & shoot camera. And then in 2013 I realized the name of “capturing photo” is Photography, Then in 2014, I started with a DSLR camera. In 2014 five of my street photos were exhibited in Drik (A famous art gallery of Bangladesh) in three different Exhibitions. That was a turning point this hobby. Then I started to learning how to capture good photos and learning from each little part of the world. Still I am learning and as ‘collection’ is my second hobby so I combined both of my hobby and started collecting good photos in my portfolio. Clicking different photos of different activities of people, location, and culture with my third-eye and showing them to my favorite people is my hobby.
To me, photography is the medium to show what the world looks like and how it’s changing every day by human. And I am trying to tell the world what I feel about the world via the universal language photography.

  • Wieslaw Mamon

    Wieslaw Mamon

My name is Wiesław Mamoń, born in 1966 and I’m a Polish engineer and teacher. My adventure with photography started relatively late in my life, when I was in my mid-thirties. At first I enjoyed  landscape and travel photography most, but it wasn’t until I attended some photo exhibitions where I came across works by such artists like Pedro Luis Raota, Stanko Abadzic and Manuel Alvarez Bravo that I got fascinated by how photography turns 3(or more)D reality into its 2D interpretation. As in this process the role of photographer is crucial, I found it intellectually challenging and entertaining to create my own visual stories. Apart from inspirations from masters of street and documentary photography my photos basically reflects my personal qualities, experience and family, cultural and religious background.

    About The Collection

This collection is a mix of my shots from 2009-2019, taken both in crowded places of big cities where I often got to with the intention of shooting and in quieter surroundings during my family trips. In my photos I look for beauty, harmony and positive emotions rather than shocking or provoking content. Compositions that are aesthetically pleasing, sometimes surprising and/or funny, usually showing ordinary people in their everyday situations. I enjoy playing with long exposure and visual illusions.

    Pranto Nayan

I’m Pranto Chakraborty Nayan from Bangladesh. Basically I’m a street and travel photographer. My photography journey started back in 2013 with just mobile phones. Then I continued for while with digital camera also. As I had no camera of my own I used to borrow  cameras from my seniors and brother just to take photos. I was so passionate about this and literally no matter what I kept on clicking photos. Initially I used to click every type of photos but gradually my philosophy changed.  In 2017 I got my own camera. A nikon 7100 with 18-55mm lense. Then after one year I shifted to Canon 6D and Sigma 1.4mm lense. Throughout this journey I went through many struggle but never leave my passion and just with my beliefs that I can I still stand strong and continuing my journey. For me photography is the reflected image of my mind. Whatever I see I try to frame them in a camera. I think photography is magic as it has changed my life drastically and for which I feel blessed.

    About The Collection

I call myself a social life photographer rather than a street photographer. The next generation will read the history with the photos we take today. The mission of the photographer is the same as a historian. So the photographer is a visual historian. Life is flowing fast and it’s my responsibility to record social life for future generations.
The photo is miracle, and the miracle of this miracle is black and white. I am not against color photography but my passion is black and white. B&W has no deficiency, but on the contrary, all colors are already in an excellent B&W.
