Bunty Gandhi
Myself Bunty Gandhi. I live in Navsari which is a small city of Gujarat. Photography for me started out of some life changing setbacks in 2017. Initially, for a few months, I was shooting whatever I came across, but slowly I developed interest in street photography… but I was still far away from what you called real street! It’s later in end of 2018, I understood what street photography actually is.
As a street photographer, I try to bring echoes and feelings places in contrasts to my pictures. I don’t have specific collection. I shoot anything which I find interesting and which connect to me. But, it’s real hard to shoot streets here in small city with many limitations so I keep changing my ideas and perspective to get most out of it.

My name is Sudeep Lal. I’m based in New Delhi, India. I’m a self taught serious amateur. I started dabbling with photography sometime around 2014. Initially it was lot of travel and random photography. In the year2015 I was introduced to the genre of ‘Street Photography’ and the works of the great masters. I was immediately drawn to the genre and since then have settled down with Street photography. I predominately shoot in colour and the likes of Alex Webb, David Alan Harvey, Harry Gruyaert and Raghubir Singh have greatly inspired my work.

I have always been intrigued by the drama which quietly unfolds around us in our daily lives. It is exciting to walk the street not knowing what unexpected encounters await you just around the bend. This is an attempt to steal such moments and record it before it fades away into obscurity.

He won two Big International street photography festivals. Right Now, He is doing job as a Part – time photography Teacher in a University.
He is member of India based Unstaged Collective – A street photography Collective. Sachin will be in Curation Panel of Brussels Street photography Festival 2021.

Sachin Ghai, born in 1990 in Punjab, India, graduated in Engineering, serving the Punjab Government and is a self taught passionate photographer. I started my passion of photography with solo travelling in 2017. Slowly I developed my interests in Street Photography as I was influenced by the work of some famous street photographers. Apart from travel, now its been 1.5 years that I am capturing daily life of people in my camera. For me, street is capturing daily lifestyle and moments.

I am a Kolkata based street photographer, hold a B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering. I am one of the curators of World Photographic Forum in Facebook and in Instagram and also member of Street Eye Collective. I was the guest curator of women in street, Unexposed Collective and Hardcore Street Collective for thematic contest. My works have been published in Eyeshot magazine, Chiiz Magazine, National Geographic, PA magazine, 121clicks.com etc. My works were chosen as one of the winners of women street photographers and were exhibited in New York City and Kuala Lumpur. I was also one of the finalists of Street Foto Sanfrancisco festival in single image category in 2019 and exhibited in San Francisco. Recently my work got selected for “Double Trouble” of Women in street which is a part of “Head on Photo Festival” in Australia. In India my works have been exhibited for several times including “Kolkata International Photography Festival”.

About The Collection

This selection contains images from Kolkata, Varanasi, Ganga sagar Island, and Las Vegas. As Kolkata is my home town, this city has a tremendous influence on me. Most of the images are from this city. Decisive moment excites me. It is the fraction of second which matters and I carry my camera with me most of the time so that I don’t miss a chance to capture the candid moment. I love to play a rhythm with my images. A visual poetry has to have its soul and I love to bring that soul though my photographs. As I live in India street animals play key role in my photographs. Pigeons, dogs, horse, cow all have their distinct nature and I love to capture them to bring out different street essence.

I am Delhi based street photographer and film-maker. Got started into photography with a mobile phone camera capturing interesting candid moments of friends in my hostel in Kota. Later on as I discovered more about photography, I got to know that the kind of photography I was doing is called street photography. Being too introvert and street being totally into strangers was a perfect plug for me to step out of my comfort zone and change my perspective about life and people. My photographs have been published in natgeo yourshot & eyeshot magazine. I won HP CHALLENGE YOUR VIEW 2019 and was finalist in phosofia street photography festival & HIPA 2018 HOPE. I was exhibited in Natgeo Yourshot project “A Planet in Balance” at Photo fest, Mexico.

Over the years discovering my instincts, I like to shoot every part of my local urbanscape and their relationships with each other. I like to shoot people and street animals in a surreal, poetic, illusion or dynamic way. I try to take storytelling photographs which are individual stories and can be part of universal narrative.

COLOURS OF KOLKATA
In this photo series, I have tried to show the colours of Kolkata through my eyes. My pictures are based on light and shadow, colourfull streets of Kolkata and street silhouettes. Silhouettes with colourfull background are always eye-catching in my opinion.

Debratna Ghosh, a self taught, published and exhibited street photographer, who aims at bringing out various flavors from different aspects of street as well nature. I chose Photography as my career path soon after the completion of my engineering degree out of the inner drive and determination towards turning out the passion into profession while nurturing it through more sound ways.

David Gibson (1957) is a British street photographer and writer on photography. He was a member of the UP Photographers street photography collective.
Gibson’s books include The Street Photographer’s Manual (2014) and 100 Great Street Photographs(2017) / Street Photography: a History in 100 Iconic Images (2019). His photography has been published in a number of survey publications on street photography, and exhibited in group exhibitions in Britain (including at the Museum of London, which acquired his work for its permanent collection), at the Museum of the City of New York, and in France, Bangkok and Stockholm.

Nikos Economopoulos was born in the Peloponnese, Greece. He studied law in Parma, Italy, and worked as a journalist. In 1988, he started photographing in Greece and Turkey, and eventually abandoned journalism to dedicate himself to photography.
He joined Magnum in 1990, and his photographs began appearing in newspapers and magazines around the world.
In the same period, he started traveling and photographing extensively around the Balkans. The work in the Balkans won him the Mother Jones Award (San Francisco, CA) for work in progress. Upon the completion of his Balkans project in 1994, he became a full member of Magnum. His book In The Balkans was published in 1995 in New York (Abrams) and in Athens (Libro).
