  • Katerina Christina

    Katerina Christina

Katerina Christina is a 25-year-old, Greek-American fine art street, documentary, and studio photographer based in San Francisco. She first picked up a camera in early 2018 in search of a creative outlet to balance her mechanical engineering studies at Stanford University. What started as a hobby is now a daily source of inspiration and appreciation of the world around her.  Her street photography focuses on slowing down to appreciate the small but powerful moments we often miss consumed in technology—the quiet moments in the chaos. Her perspective in street photography is shaped by the chaos of the years before and at Stanford when she rarely took the time to appreciate the swiftly passing moments around her. Now she documents these moments every day with the hope that others will be inspired by her images to slow down and take in the world around them with admiration and respect.
Her long-term documentary project ‘Shattered Glass’ tells the stories of women around the world who are shattering barriers and expectations in male-dominated roles, giving fellow females the role models, exposure, and resources they need to break into these fields, all while unapologetically embracing their femininity.
Outside of photography, Katerina creates line drawings with both pen and charcoals. Her style mirrors that of her photography, using minimalism to evoke emotion and intrigue.

    George Natsioulis

I was born in Greece (Larissa) in 1982.
My inspiration was derived by international professional photographers and the impression of their work that enchanted my mind.
Intimately familiar taking high quality digital photographs, including framing, selecting and setting up lighting, and determining advanced shutter and lens options.
Most of my works have Art minimal influences. From the beginning of my photographic career until today, minimalism is an important part in my photography. The winter inspires me.
I love to photograph the hazy days and especially those with fog. The result is enchanting and so impressive that it evokes a cinematic shot. I love geometry, geometric shapes and cinematic sensation so I can imprint them through my pictures.

  • Iraklis Kougemitros

    Iraklis Kougemitros

I was born in Athens, Greece. I have studied music technology and saxophone, and I am a self-taught photographer. Since 2009, photography has become an essential means to express myself.
Silent blocks, shadows, lines and abstract forms, have a language that speaks directly to me, more directly than any words can do. When I am out taking pictures, I find myself forgetting that I am photographing, but rather investigating the hidden aspects of life.
The environment becomes a theatrical scene, where every detail is important and can become a protagonist. I photograph elements from urban environments, trying to compose unexpected little stories. The images affect me emotionally, and I respond photographically. Through my photos I try to explain, redefine and express this dialog.
The unidentified human presence, sometimes being a silhouette and sometimes a shadow, is an element that I often use in my effort to tell a story. In many photos, the human is absent as matter; it only exists in a mental way, part of an urban environment full of forms, geometry and abundant light. This way, I attempt to show the environment’s psychological effect on human beings, but also the influence human beings impose on it. In my photos nothing is named and nothing is realistic.
The abstract, I believe, has more to say than the specific. I want the viewer, the recipient, to be able to freely perceive my images, to enter the environments they depict and compose his own image.

    About The Collection

The love of life and photography made me fulfil many projects out on the streets around the world like Cuba, Morocco, Turkey etc.
For me street photography cannot be defined or confined. Therefore, I started shooting the active life around me. I ‘d describe it as love of conceiving the simple and spontaneous which is unnoticed before our eyes and is converted into something special in the viewer’s eyes. I might call it “art of observation”. The result of a cerebral response. A constant challenge that keeps provoking my senses as a photographer.
I use to study light and shadow in each of my photographs, as both of them were essential in highlighting elements such as the texture, the color and the architecture that dominated around in every city.
My point is to find different people and cultures and tell their stories in common places through my lens in a personal way.
