Street photography is a passion I have in the past 10 years or so, before that I was exploring all types of photography until I understood the street is the place for me.
Looking for little stories in the ordinary street life is something very fulfilling and enjoyable, there’s nothing like building the story in your head, wait for the right moment and get the shot right.

Marco Peron
My name is Marco, i’m 30 and i was born in a little city in Italy; i start photography after trying a lot of hobbies and till my 26 i never picked up a camera. When i bought myself the first camera i think that was love at first sigh, i slowly came across street photography after one year doing some local contest and workshops. In 2017 i had a little portofolio published in the magazine CITES and in 2019 i was one of the finalist at Bruxelles Street Photo Festival.

These photos are about my favourite street photography zone, Venice. it’s a special place for me, where i can meet new people from around the world every time.
This selection, is a demonstration of how people can be absorbed by surrounding environments, they don’t even recognize what just happened to them, it’s a fun experiment , it was started as a way to gain self confidence and i’m still doing it in many different ways.

Joanna Mrowka
Joanna Mrowka was born and lives in Cracow.She works as a lecturer in the Department of Mathematics in Cracow University of Economics.She has participated in many group exhibitions, national and international competitions and has presented several solo exhibitions.
She is a prize winner in the National Geographic Competition Poland, Grand Press Photo, BZ WBK Press Foto and Leica Street Photo. She’s a winner of second prize in Lens Culture Street Award 2015 in series.She is a member of Forum Polish Photographers Agency and Little Box Collective.

Belinda Corney
Originally from Australia and now based in London, I am an amateur photographer who has always enjoyed taking photos, but it was in 2017 that I discovered street photography.
This almost instantly kick started my love of getting out and photographing the amazing city I live in as it was an artistic outlet I had been missing for a long time. I am extremely grateful to have stumbled upon it and equally grateful for the large community of wonderful street photographers it has introduced me to.

About The Collection

This collection of images shows my love of light, shadow and reflections. I have always been drawn to them, so it made sense they would creep into my photographic style. I am especially drawn to the interesting shapes that shadow and light create, as well as capturing the interaction of human beings, usually solitary or in silhouette, within their environment.

Matthieu Bruneau
Matthieu Bruneau is a French photographer born in 1982. His first contact with photography was during a six-month trip to South America in 2008. On coming back to France he decided to think about a new career as a photographer.
Influenced by the work of Martin Parr, Harry Gruyeart, Luigi Ghirri but also Andreas Gursky. His work ranges between street photography, minimalism and more personal and societal photo projects.

I do Photography for passion and as a form of personal artistic expression in a perspective of sharing and communicating with society. I like to photograph spontaneous and unprepared life in its interaction with the surroundings and in unusual, unique and unrepeatable moments, without forgetting the composition. In a photograph, I value life moments and emotions more than technique.I like to travel to photograph. I shoot in the street discreetly and stealthily (candid) however, sometimes, I also interact with people photographing them with their consent.

This selection of 20 photographs had as a concept not only the display in the cities where I photographed, but also the “representation” of my “eclecticism” in the approach of themes. In fact, I like to photograph in the streets, either in a discreet and stealthy way, or in direct contact and with the consent of those portrayed. I also like the so-called “decisive moment”, the aesthetic integration and interaction of the human being with the environment and also registering moments of humor and irony.

It’s a fact that relies only on what has been lived and what has been seen; that whole knowledge earned throughout our existence. The human mind as if it was a blank canvas on which we bestow, on a daily basis through sensations, information and wisdom.

Andy Hann
Andy Hann was born and raised primarily in Southern California. Along with skateboarding and surfing, he developed a deep passion for art and design which he followed into art school and then a prosperous 30 year career in entertainment advertising. After numerous awards and accolades, he says that he woke up one day and decided he was all done pandering to clients, picked up a camera and just starting shooting. “photography”, he now says, “is like a booger on my finger that I just can’t shake”.
Utilizing his formal design training and decades worth of advertising work, photography is a craft that seems to come quite naturally to Hann. Along with his strong sense of composition and use of natural light, he also infuses his offbeat sense of humor into most of his shots.
He says he is now on a quest to find the soul of his hometown.

WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD
A three year photo essay of Hollywood Blvd.
Even as a young punk I was fascinated with the spectacle of Hollywood Boulevard. Equal parts circus and train wreck, for me it has always been a microcosm of all that is funky about America. Celebrity worship, garish displays of faux wealth, drug addiction, homelessness, exploitation, and urban decay – all on display for mindless tourists who meander about, handing out the money that perpetuates it all.
This book is a three year photo essay that takes a hard look at the vendors, residents, and visitors of the quarter mile stretch known by the locals as “the boulevard of broken dreams”. While never seeking to mock any individuals, it is a deliberate effort to poke a stick at our culture, and hold up a mirror as to who we are.

David Gibson (1957) is a British street photographer and writer on photography. He was a member of the UP Photographers street photography collective.
Gibson’s books include The Street Photographer’s Manual (2014) and 100 Great Street Photographs(2017) / Street Photography: a History in 100 Iconic Images (2019). His photography has been published in a number of survey publications on street photography, and exhibited in group exhibitions in Britain (including at the Museum of London, which acquired his work for its permanent collection), at the Museum of the City of New York, and in France, Bangkok and Stockholm.

Andrea Bruce is an award winning documentary photographer whose work focuses on people living in the aftermath of war. She concentrates on the social issues that are sometimes ignored and often ignited in war’s wake. Her clients include National Geographic and The New York Times as well as many publications around the globe. Andrea was a 2016 Nieman Fellow at Harvard University where she studied political theory and democracy. Andrea started working in Iraq in 2003, bringing a local reporter’s knack for intimacy and community focus to the lives of Iraqis and the US military. For over ten years she has chronicled the world’s most troubled areas, focusing on Iraq and Afghanistan. For eight years she worked as a staff photographer for The Washington Post, where she originated and authored a weekly column called “Unseen Iraq.”

Nikos Economopoulos was born in the Peloponnese, Greece. He studied law in Parma, Italy, and worked as a journalist. In 1988, he started photographing in Greece and Turkey, and eventually abandoned journalism to dedicate himself to photography.
He joined Magnum in 1990, and his photographs began appearing in newspapers and magazines around the world.
In the same period, he started traveling and photographing extensively around the Balkans. The work in the Balkans won him the Mother Jones Award (San Francisco, CA) for work in progress. Upon the completion of his Balkans project in 1994, he became a full member of Magnum. His book In The Balkans was published in 1995 in New York (Abrams) and in Athens (Libro).
