The purpose of these awards is identifying talented professionals, students and even dilettantes and their individual inclinations. Do not hesitate in taking part in the annual street photographers foundation street photography.

Screen Your Greatest Street Photography

Different eyes can see different things. Every day is different since people see it from different points of view. Yet there are similar factors such as craving the capture of unsolicited instants of the daily life, the competency of bestowing order in mayhem the world is facing today. As it has already been seen, some the top photographers were originally street photographers and we are honored to say we have a part in elucidating a chance for this group. We would like to announce our will and eagerness in seeing your creativity in shooting marvelous and splendid moments happening around you in your daily life. The tools you use is not important for us! All we care about is seeing your perspective and point of view in any way you would like to present it.

Winners, Jurors’ Picks and Finalists grant Street Photographers Foundation limited, restricted use of winning photos only to promote the photographers themselves and in connection with marketing the Awards competition itself. Details can be found in the Competition rules.

** Photos are accepted in the contest regardless of their dates and no restrictions are considered.

** Photo Upload Specifications: For best results, upload the highest-quality JPEGs, sized a minimum of 1200 pixels on the longest side but up to 2000 pixels is even better. Maximum size is 10Mb. The file name should be under 50 characters.

Richard Sandler Street Photographer Richard Sandler (born 1946) is an American street photographer and documentary filmmaker who has made work in New York City.His photographs have been published in The Eyes of the City (2016) and are held in the collections of Brooklyn Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. His films include The Gods of Times Square (1999), Brave New York (2004), and Radioactive City (2011). He has received a Guggenheim Fellowship for filmmaking.

WOMEN STREET PHOTOGRAPHERS

Gulnara Lyabib Samoilova is an American photographer with over 40 years of experience in documentary, street, and fine art photography and as a staff photo editor and photojournalist at the Associated Press. 

Throughout her career, Gulnara has received numerous awards for her photographs, including first prize from the World Press Photo for her coverage of September 11, 2001.

She is the founder of Women Street Photographers, an online and in-person global community, an artist residency in New York City and a travelling exhibition. Gulnara is the author of the best-selling book ‘Women Street Photographers’ (2021, Prestel) and has an upcoming portfolio book set to be released by Peanut Press Books in 2023. With her vast experience and expertise, Gulnara has organized and curated over 30 successful exhibitions in four continents, including the first Leica Women Foto Project and Women Street Photographers Summit in New York City.

Laurel Chor (born 8 January 1990) is a Hong Kong photographer, journalist and filmmaker. She is also a rugby player and competed at the 2017 Women’s Rugby World Cup, it was Hong Kong’s first-ever World Cup appearance.
Chor graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science in International Health and Development and is studying for a Master’s degree in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management at Christ Church, Oxford.

Nick Turpin In Public Nick Turpin (born 1969) is a British street photographer and advertising and design photographer. He is based in London and near Lyon, France. Turpin established the first international collective of street photographers, In-Public, in 2000 and was a member until 2018. His work has been published in his own book, On The Night Bus (2016) and in various survey publications, as well as being included in a number of group exhibitions. He publishes through Nick Turpin Publishing, makes short films, and gives workshops on street photography.

Masoud Gharaei was born in March 1988, He is an iranian photographer . He is known for his photographic projects that take an intimate, anthropological look at aspects of modern life, in particular documenting the social classes of Iran. He is also founder of Street Photographers foundation.
